Dear visitors, I extend to you all a very warm welcome to the official website of Saint Fateh Singh Convent School (SFSCS). As you navigate your way through the website you will find answers to the many questions you may have about our institution and our academic program. As you navigate through the information on this website, you will get a sense of the rich flavor of life and culture at SFSCS that we are proud of.

As the Principal of this revered institution, I would like to convey the philosophy on which the foundation of SFSCS is laid – “the mind is not a vessel to be filled, but a fire to be kindled”.

To achieve this motto we emphasize activity-based learning so that the students get to enjoy their education. By inculcating differential learning plans in the curriculum, we aim to create experiential learning as the core of our teaching philosophy. We are passionate about creating a ‘learning’ institution that is dynamic and constantly seeking excellence to meet the needs of the present as well as the future.

We want to position ourselves as a truly child-centric School, where the focus is on not just knowledge and understanding but also application and synthesis. Committed to the holistic development of a student, and instilling in them the ethical and moral value systems of the Indian past while also focusing equally on academic knowledge, social skills, intellectual curiosity, physical endurance, and a special emphasis on self-discovery, we are proud of where we have come since our inception in 1999.

I believe that children must be provided with a platform to dream from their earliest childhood because dreamers always win. I want our students to carry forward the motto of love and equality entrusted in their hands at Saint Fateh Singh Convent School, Maur Mandi.
